NormCyber, the award-winning cyber and data risk management specialist, has today announced it will host its second Cyber Recovery Wargame workshop at the Imperial War Museum, Manchester, on 14th November. The free event will see accredited experts from Norm and recovery specialists Databarracks present participants with simulated attack scenarios and provide guidance on coordinating a polished incident response strategy.
Ideal for senior business leaders and decision-makers responsible for cyber security and business operations, Norm’s Cyber Recovery Wargame will provide a range of immersive scenarios and invaluable insights, all designed to empower participants with the clarity and conviction needed to enhance attack response and minimise business impact.
Norm’s Cyber Incident Response Team is accredited by CREST and certified by the National Cyber Security Centre as Cyber Incident Response Level 2, placing its experts in good standing to deliver comprehensive guidance through the fully interactive session. Participants will be supported in navigating the cyber attack process from initial response through to recovery, all whilst building the solid foundations of an efficient and well-practised incident response strategy.
“Norm’s Cyber Recovery Wargame is so much more than a workshop – it empowers participants with the experience and knowledge to minimise operational damage, revenue loss and reputational damage,” said Paul Cragg, Chief Technology Officer at NormCyber. “Businesses don’t know how unprepared they are until disaster strikes, which is why sessions like these are so vital. These workshops provide a safe environment where attendees can test their knowledge and preparedness, so that if a breach occurs, they can approach it with the expertise and confidence needed.”
