London, United Kingdom – 9 May 2019
ThinkMarble is proud to have been named SME Industry Champion at the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) CyberFirst Awards which took place in Glasgow at CYBERUK.

The NCSC, who presented the award to ThinkMarble at a gala dinner during CYBERUK (the UK government’s flagship cyber-security event at which ThinkMarble were also asked to speak), are the organisation behind the CyberFirst initiative, a series of courses designed to engage students with cyber-security.

ThinkMarble have been supporting the NCSC’s CyberFirst initiative for some time, and in late 2018 became the first organisation in the South East of England to host the Adventurers Course.

“Cyber & Information Security is in the news on a regular basis which highlights the need for organisations to continue to protect themselves to the fullest extent. As they do this, the demand for more skilled people to enter the field is increasing. I am incredibly proud of both my team and to have been recognised for our efforts in addressing this shortage.” said Founder and CEO Andy Miles, shortly after accepting the award.

“Finally, what makes this very special to us is that this is not an award that a company can enter or be shortlisted for – it’s a recognition by the very pinnacle of industry. We will continue our work by delivering further courses over the next 12 months, which are free to attend.”

ThinkMarble are a Cyber Security Operator for; Cyber Defence, Cyber Incident Response, and Information Protection; all monitored 24x7x365 from a UK Security Operations Centre.

We were in the market for an independent Data Protection Officer service that was well versed with both UK and EU regulators. We’re thrilled to have acquired this service knowing that an expert is available 24/7.

The speed of your Data Protection Officer’s response was very impressive – it was far quicker than I would have expected even from an in-house DPO
